From the day I made first contact with 1791 the amazing ladies in their team were with me in my journey to the day I proposed. They provided me excellent service that resulted to me being a so-called 'well-informed' when it comes to diamonds. Looking back, they made the whole process so easy.

Regarding the Noelle engagement ring you had made for me it was a great success, I hid it in the garden and told her to come and look I wanted to show her something, she said it better not be a snake or a spider lol (makes me sound mean as if id do that) and when she looked and saw it she burst into tears and I asked her and she said yes it was the happiest day of my life. La Lucia is a bold, modern design which makes effective use of the strong lines of the princess cut diamond in a bar setting. This is a solitaire diamond engagement ring yet it does not try to replicate the demure and delicate look of more traditional solitaires.

La Lucia design is well balanced and the bar setting, while certainly a prominent feature of the ring's design, complements the fabulous diamond without detracting from its beauty.

The edginess of this design then flows through to the ring's band.

The intention with this design seems to be for the three elements: the diamond, the setting and the metal band, to work together, enhancing one another rather than emphasising any one design aspect. That this design should work so effectively is testament to the high quality of the materials used as well as the quality of workmanship.
