Engagement Rings in the Air

Kylie Minogue appears to have finally found true love! There are rumours that the Australian popsinger/actress is engaged to boyfriend Andres Velencoso. Although no sign of engagement rings, Andres is thought to have popped the question during a romantic trip to New York in May this year. Apparently, Andres told her he wanted to wake up next to her every day for the rest of his life.

Kylie began her career as a child actress and achieved recognition through her role in Australian soap opera Neighbours before becoming a recording artist in 1987. Her first single, "The Loco-Motion" became the highest selling single of the decade in Australia. Kylie, 41, and Andres, 32, met at a party in October 2008 and he moved into her London home in February.

The star is said to have bought herself a luxury apartment in Andres' home town of Tossa De Mar in Spain. Kylie confirmed she is blissfully happy with Andres and said "I feel relaxed, happy, excited and just totally content with my life. I'm having a good time." The duo is said to be inseparable.

The love-struck couple have yet to find the perfect engagement ring so Kylie has taken to wearing a diamond heart band, which she apparently calls her Spanish heart, on the fourth finger of her right hand until they get a chance to look at engagement rings. It is thought by close friends that engagement rings will be exchanged any day now. I think these stunning white gold engagement rings from 1791 Diamonds would look nice on her.

Double Wedding?

Kylie could be planning a double wedding with her sister Dannii, who is in a relationship with rugby star-turned-model Kris Smith. Apparently the girls have been joking for years about racing each other down the aisle, but now it looks like it could come true. Talk is heating up that former-rugby-player-turned-model Kris Smith is about to propose to girlfriend Dannnii Minogue, Kylie's sister. He is said to have bought her a "massive" diamond engagement ring and is just waiting for the right time to ask her to marry him. Apparently the girls have already started wedding plans and considered wedding dresses. Maybe they should wait for definite engagement rings first!

Previous Rumours Involving Kylie and Engagement Rings

In September 2003, there were rumours that actor Olivier Martinez proposed to girlfriend Kylie during a Riviera cruise, giving the Aussie singer a $38,000 engagement ring. Then in February 2008, there were more rumours involving Olivier, Kylie and diamond engagement rings when the pair were on night out in London. The pop princess began the night with a diamond ring on her second finger but by the time she left the after party, the sparkler had moved to her fourth (wedding ring) finger.
